Fingerprint Identification System oriented to civil purposes
Automated fingerprint
Identification is used as a high secure method to verify the identity of
individuals in the system: Identification: to confirm that
individuals are “who they say they are”.
Searching for actual identity: looking for the existence of
matching fingerprints, of the same individual, what makes possible to find out
false identities and to avoid fraud.
The range of possible applications is very wide, although
main ones are:
- ID Documents:
Ensure the identity of the individual who is holding the
document or of the one who is asking for a new
issue.
Ensure that an individual using a false identity is not
holding any more a valid document, in the case was holding a previous
one.
- Polling Processes:
to Identify individuals at the polling
stations, and to avoid fraud.
Legal and Notarial Acts: it allows to ensure the identity
of the holders or legal actors to carry on legal
procedures.

it allows to ensure the
identity of individuals against “black lists” of high risk or
interest.
- Funding Agencies and Banks: It allows to ensure the
identity of individuals when asking for a funding product, money transactions,
and access to manage stocks.
Govermental Agencies and Access to Social Assistance
Incomes: It allows the identification of individuals to receive the pension,
allowance, etc.
