ResPOL AFIS
ResPOL AFIS has the same functionality than ResPOL BASIC but extends it
shipping fingerprint investigative workstations, as a large forensic AFIS but
customized to smaller services. In the next figure it is showed the interconnection

In those workstations where
fingerprint analysis is available, a complete set of tools for forensic purposes
are to ease the expert’s work, specifically to treat latentprints. Once the
dactilogram is introduced in the system, next figure shows the aspect of the
working framework.
Editing ridges and valleys,
minutiae, and filtering, etc is done through a complete visual environment, as
can be seen in the next figure.
Thus ResPOL AFIS is a complete
solution for forensic units of small and medium size, shiping all the resources
that can be founded in the most large forensic automated fingerprint
identification systems.
